Hands On volunteers are such a BIG Help! In May, Hands On Flex volunteers will be organizing and assembling summer art kits that Big Brothers Big Sisters will give to 40 children from low-income, single-parent homes. These families would not otherwise have access to supplies for art/craft projects. BBBS hopes that the art kits will also engage parents/guardians in fun creative activities with the children! Middle School is full of major life changes; social, emotional and physical all converge during these key years. Add to this the fact that it is during these years many students decide to continue with, or drop out of school. We want students not only to survive the middle school years, but also thrive - ready to tackle high school, college and careers.
