when will the sun shine again?

We all enjoy sunshine, right? I guess there may be some people who prefer clouds and rainy days, but I don't know of any.

If you're in the Baltimore area, you know we have been under clouds for too many days now - a few weeks. C'mon already sunshine! Personally, I am waiting (not so patiently) and wondering ... when will the sun shine again? I need it. I want it. I can't wait for it. And I'll love when that bright buttery color filters down through a blue sky onto my face, bursting through the windows and warming my soul and mood. Like John Denver sings: Sunshine on my shoulders ...

"Sunshine on my shoulders
makes me happy,

Sunshine in my eyes
can make me cry.

Sunshine on the water
looks so lovely,

Sunshine almost always
makes me high."

Too many dark, cloudy and wet days can affect us. It is a known fact that sunshine produces positive reactions in our bodies which in turn helps us to feel more chipper. A lack of sunlight can cause people to become depressed, sad, fatigued and feel hopeless.

Perhaps something is now happening in your life which feels dark, cloudy and stormy? It may feel like your dark unhappy mood will last forever; that lighter, brighter days will never arrive. You may be asking (not so patiently):
"When will this pass? When will I get over it? When will I feel chipper and whole again? When will the sun shine again on life?"

hello sunshine graphic
We know for a fact sunny weather will come around again. It is a Mother Nature given, a circle, a pattern, a way of the world. Just like the light and dark days in our lives do not hover forever. Yet,
unfortunately, they are part of the circle, the pattern, the way of the world.

So while you are waiting for the sunshiny days, please know you are loved, uplifted, supported and thought of ...
because for you ... the sun shall shine again.

snippeteer backtalk

"Suzanne, you hit the nail on the head - there is no perfect and we need to be able to be happy with whatever place we are - we all see our own faults to be huge when other people are not likely to find them in us at all. Go ahead and get your book published, even if there are some minor imperfections, most will not see them and I am sure it will be great just like the others."
~ Mary B in Little Italy MD

"It's not supposed to be perfect ... it's supposed to be real just like life!"
~ Bernadette in Lutherville MD
