Even though our 2016 Benefit Art Auction is over (read all about our success and check out the pics below), we've got some great new programs and events coming up!
Artist Trust is headed to Spokane at the end of the month: we have some excellent events including our new program, Artist Trust Office Hours, photography and writing workshops, as well as the first stop of our year-long Artist Trust on Tour!
We're thrilled to be kicking off Artist Trust on Tour, where 20 multidisciplinary artists are coming to 5 creative cities around Washington in a cultural exchange across disciplines and regions.

Grants for Artist Projects Applications Open March 28

The Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) applications will be available starting March 28! The application deadline is May 23, 2016. And the guidelines are ready, so check them out here to get a jump on your application!
The Grants for Artist Projects provide financial support -- up to $1,500 per project -- for individual artist projects. GAPs support a wide range of artist projects including (but not limited to) the development, completion or presentation of new work; publication; travel for artistic research or to present or complete work; documentation of work; and advanced workshops for professional development.

The numbers are in: This year's record-breaking 2016 Benefit Art Auction raised over $572,000, which is more than a 13% increase over the previous year, and the most in the organization's history! Over 450 art patrons, community leaders, entrepreneurs and young professionals, as well as artists and arts supporters from across the state joined the festivities in celebration of individual artists and the work of Artist Trust.

Introducing Artist Trust On Tour!

Help us celebrate Artist Trust's 30th anniversary by joining us for Artist Trust on Tour! 20 multidisciplinary artists are coming to 5 creative cities around Washington in a cultural exchange across disciplines and regions. Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Bellingham and Port Townsend will each host 4 artists at beloved local art institutions to connect people from different disciplines and regions, celebrate the wealth of arts that exist throughout the state, and create community. Artist Trust is proud to announce Seattle Art Fair's continuing support as a presenting partner and City Arts as a media sponsor of Artist Trust on Tour.

Office Hours is a free grantwriting support program for artists of all disciplines looking for advice on how to apply for funding from Artist Trust. Artist Trust staff will provide one-on-one consultations where we'll walk artists through the application process for our grants, provide feedback on their grant applications, and answer any questions they have. Catching up with Artist Trust grant recipients and grads!

Dancer/teacher/choreographer and 2015 Fellowship recipient Pam Kuntz will be teaching an afternoon dance class specially designed for people living with Parkinson's disease at the Wenatchee branch of the North Central Regional Library on March 15.

2010 EDGE grad Codi Pherigo's poem "Tree Femme" was accepted by the Seattle Erotic Art Festival (April 22-24), and will be published in their anthology.
