Gar LaSalle Storyteller Award: Deadline 9/8!
|
Artist Trust is thrilled to announce an exciting NEW GRANT opportunity! And the deadline to apply, September 9, is coming up soon!
The Gar LaSalle Storyteller Award is an unrestricted award of $10,000 given to a Washington State artist who is engaged in storytelling through their work in various artistic disciplines. The award recognizes an artist who demonstrates excellence in storytelling through their primary artistic discipline. The discipline focus for 2015 will be Literature (fiction). Future awards will focus on storytelling through other artistic disciplines to be announced each year.

Bid sayonara to summer with artist Anna Skibska in her Fremont, Seattle studio! Our goal is to raise $1,500 to fund a GAP (Grants for Artist Projects).
* Observe Anna's process in action and learn more about how she developed her signature technique of flameworking glass into intricate, grid-like structures. * Hear about why this 2001 Fellowship recipient supports Artist Trust. * Enjoy hosted food and libations from Hilliard's Beer and Dry Fly Distillery, surrounded by singular sculptures and collages. * Select your very own Anna Skibska! Small-scale glass pieces and jewelry will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting Artist Trust.
Suggested tax-deductible donation on a sliding scale, from $10 to $50 at the door. Pay what you can; cash or card accepted. Alternate transportation encouraged as street parking is limited.

- Development Director: The Development Director is a key strategist for Artist Trust, stewarding all activities that drive fundraising success. This position oversees revenue generation through a comprehensive fundraising program that includes major gifts, annual funds, events, public and private sector grants, corporate sponsorship, planned and legacy gifts, and special campaign initiatives. - Artist Liaison: The Artist Liaison is the welcoming point of contact for artists seeking information and support from Artist Trust. The Artist Liaison also works with Artist Trust staff to proactively and strategically expand Artist Trust's reach to and deepen Artist Trust's relationships with diverse artists and communities. - Grants Program Coordinator: The Grants Program Coordinator facilitates all aspects of Artist Trust Grantmaking programs, focusing on logistics, materials preparation, and communications with participants. For more information and how to apply click here.
