2015 Benefit Art Auction: A Huge Success!

photo: Miguel Edwards

Exciting news! Our 2015 event was record-breaking, raising over $500,000 in support of individual artists; bigger than any auction yet, and an increase of more than 30% over last year!

Our Fund-the-Artists portion of the evening also broke records - raising over $250,000, thanks to a special challenge from the Klorfine Foundation and some of our long-time supporters and board members.

We're still glowing from the excitement: being surrounded by amazing art, dedicated arts supporters and talented artists. Take a look at the pictures from our enchanting photo booth (an installation by artist Mary Coss) and other highlights of the evening here. And please encourage your guests and other friends to take a look!

Thanks to the hundreds of artists who contributed artworks and experiences, and the volunteers and patrons who came out to support our mission.

And be sure to mark your calendars for next year's Benefit Art Auction, February 27, 2016!

Help Us Develop Our Resource Room

Cherdonna needs a new chair! Video by Sonja Roach.

Help Artist Trust outfit its newly designed Resource Room - a space for Washington-based artists to gather and access funding opportunities, sample grant applications and more!

Check out this hilarious video with local performer Cherdonna to learn more.

Your contributions will go toward: installation of new furniture for a versatile, multi-use space; new computers with a suite of creative software for artists to use; a street-facing monitor to share artists' work and upcoming events; and the commissioning of an original work by a Washington State artist to be enjoyed by all who use the Resource Room!

But here's the best part: your dollars will go twice as far through the support of ArtsFund. Artsfund's power2give/PugetSound is an online cultural marketplace connecting donors with projects they are passionate about.
