Washington State artists working in emerging fields/cross-disciplinary, performing, traditional/folk, and visual arts are invited to apply for Artist Trust's 2015 Fellowships! These $7,500 awards recognize 12 practicing professional artists of exceptional talent and demonstrated ability, acknowledging an artist's creative excellence and accomplishment, professional achievement and continuing dedication to their artistic discipline. (Craft, literary, media, and music arts will be offered in 2016.)
In addition, one artist each in emerging fields/cross-disciplinary and visual arts will receive a one-month residency at The Millay Colony for the Arts in upstate New York, along with a $1,000 stipend.

The EDGE Professional Development Program provides literary artists with the relevant and necessary entrepreneurial skills to achieve their personal career goals as well as to develop peer support. EDGE offers comprehensive training in professional practices through a hands-on, interactive curriculum that includes instruction by professionals in the field, as well as specialized presentations, panel discussions, and assignments.

Our Creating a Living Legacy (CALL) program has now wrapped up, but not before CALL Artists Juan Alonso, Marita Dingus and Jim Woodring, Legacy Specialists Carolyn Dunford and Esther Ervin, and members of Artist Trust were given a private tour of Seattle Art Museum's art storage area by Phil Stoiber, Senior Registrar for Exhibitions.

We're thrilled to be selected as the primary beneficiary of the inaugural Seattle Art Fair, a citywide summer event featuring top galleries and artists from around the world!
The Seattle Art Fair is a platform designed to showcase the vibrant culture and diversity of the Pacific Northwest. Through inventive citywide cultural partnerships, the fair will be a destination for new and established collectors, international art patrons, and residents of one of the fastest growing cities in the US.
The Seattle Art Fair will feature approximately 40 leading local, regional, and international art galleries presenting top tier modern and contemporary art. Site-specific art installations created for the fair by artists from around the world will be placed in select locations throughout the city. The fair will also highlight the Pacific Rim, with Asian galleries presenting the best of their region's contemporary artwork.
