Three Girls Gossip
Today is National Teddy Bear Day, so the Three Girls' team took a trip down memory lane to visit old friends. Keep reading to learn who had teddy bears and other special plush toys from childhood.
Erika, CEO - I didn't have a teddy bear, but I had 2 toys that served the same purpose - a plush Hello Kitty doll and a Miss Piggy puppet! I slept with them every night and loved them both. I just took a quick look online and the vintage Miss Piggy puppet I had is now going for $200 on eBay! Wow! However, the vintage Hello Kitty plush doll can be found for a much more reasonable $30...I may have to revisit my childhood!
Emily, Sr. Dir. Of Publicity - I had several special stuffed animals, but one of my favorites growing up was my Cabbage Patch doll, Sabrina (I'm holding her in the picture on the right). I slept with her pretty much every night, and in addition to blonde hair like me she only had one dimple like me, too.
One of my other favorites is my dog, Brutus (pictured with my kids on the left). He was a gift from my brother in college; in addition to loving the joke of him sending me a huge stuffed animal while sharing a dorm room, I felt so special that he mailed Brutust to me even though I was two states away; I had so much fun with the giant dog during and after college. I even take pictures of my kids by him regularly to show how much they've grown!
Beth, Sr. Publicist & Graphic Designer - I had hundreds of stuffed toys when I was a kid and although I've seriously downsized since then, I never quite grew out of the love for having a cuddly companion to sleep with at night! I picked up a giant stuffed Winnie the Pooh the last time I went to Disneyland and he's slept with me ever since. When I go on vacation or sleep somewhere else, I use a pillow in place of Pooh Bear because it's just not comfortable to sleep without him!
Natalie, Publicist - I had a number of stuffed animals when I was kid, but Ballie Bear was my absolute favorite! My grandma gave her to me and from what I've been told, I took an instant liking to her! I still have her from when I was 2 years-old and plan on keeping her forever. She had foot surgery years ago and is a little dirty, but is in good shape for being 24 years-old! She is and will probably be the oldest thing I'll ever own.

Client Chitchat
Three Girls is excited to introduce a new client, CHI Recovery.
This unique northern California rehabilitation center stands out from the crowd because of their diversion from typical "12 Step" programs, and they are evidence based. Participants elect their own daily spiritual practices chosen through a heartfelt alliance with those philosophies; individuals may choose to draw from modified, Cognitive Behavioral or Transpersonal Psychology interpretation of the 12 Steps.
CHI Recovery is run by Robin, the Program and Executive Director. Trained primarily as a Family Systems Therapist, Robin has additional depth with Transpersonal, Cognitive-Behavioral and Feminist Psychology and has had an expansive history in business.
