June is Candy Month and the Three Girls team shares their favorite sweet treats below! Keep reading for sugar coated insights into how our team works:

Erika- Growing up I loved Snickers and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I
especially liked getting egg-shaped Reese's in my Easter baskets! Now that I'm older my candy choices are a bit more refined. I'm a huge fan of dark chocolate and like it paired with a lot of things, including a good red wine. At Costco a few months ago they were sampling a new product - Sander's Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Caramels - and I fell in love! I was so bummed that they didn't have them in stock the next time I visited the store that I ordered some off Amazon! I also love using dark chocolate in baking, like the Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownies I made a few days ago that are pictured to the right.

Natalie- I think my favorite chocolate type of candy is a Heath bar and for non-chocolate I love Sour Patch Kids! I also love holiday themed candies, like the nutcracker Snickers guys and the Reese's trees for Christmas.

Emily- I like so many different kinds of candy, although I think my favorite is Toblerone. In addition to it tasting delicious, I have a lot of fond memories of enjoying these types of bars with my mom. In fact, it's not unusual for us to buy them for each other as gifts now.

Beth- I have always liked Jelly Belly beans. Some stores let you buy them in bulk and you can pick out only the colors and flavors you want so that's a fun thing to do to create a personalized mix and match bag! I really like the coconut, bubble gum, "tutti fruitti" and watermelon flavored ones.

Danielle- It depends on if I'm craving something fruity sweet or something with richness and depth. My go-to cure for a sweet tooth is a mounds bar; the dark chocolate and coconut are a perfect combination of bitter and sweet. If chocolate is not what I'm after, the Pink Starbursts' juicy sweetness hits the spot.

Good news! Michelle-Lael Norsworthy has been given an official date for her reassignment surgery: February 10, 2017.

Who is Michelle-Lael? She made national and international news following her victory in the court case Norsworthy v. Beard, that set a precedent for the State of California being required to pay for sexual reassignment surgery for transgender inmates.

Did you know? Nearly one in six transgender individuals have been incarcerated at some point in their lives. Michelle-Lael's background as a transsexual inmate has fueled her passion to give a voice to other incarcerated transgendered persons, now that she is a free woman.

How can you help? Visit Michelle-Lael's GoFundMe page to assist with her goal in creating a transitional home for transgendered men and women and click here for more information about Michelle-Lael's story and journey.

8 Public Relations Lessons from Friends: As Natalie recently shared, there are a lot of public relations lessons you can learn from watching television. She did a fantastic job of showing how you can find social media inspiration from TV reruns, primetime and more. With this in mind, as I was re-watching Friends on Netflix, I was inspired by all the public relations lessons you can learn from the show. Here are eight I came up with.
