THREE GIRLS GOSSIP
Three Girls' team is so excited about our staff retreat this weekend! As a celebration of our 10th year in business, the whole team will convene for a fun, relaxing time and all sorts of fun events. Stay tuned for highlights in our next newsletter.

In the meantime, to wrap up the summer, we wanted to highlight how our team has been enjoying the warm months this year. Here's what everyone's been up to:

Erika: "After moving into our new home and having acreage to play with, I've really enjoyed planting and watching my veggie garden grow. It's really just been in the last couple of weeks that we've been able to harvest a bunch of produce. I've been using much of it for canning. So far I've made dill pickle spears, pickled beets, sweet tomato, pepper and corn salsa and fresh blackberry jam. It's also been great seeing the results of my husband's hard work putting in landscaping this summer. Besides cherry, apple, plum, lemon, fig, Japanese maple and cypress trees, he's planted dozens of lavender and daisy plants - my two favorites!"

Beth: "I've been using the warm summer months to help my husband out on his all-natural farm and learn how to grow produce on a large scale. The farm grows all kinds of vegetables using no pesticides, and it's been really fun learning about different types of soil, how to get the largest harvest and all about companion planting. It's great having access to fresh vegetables all summer. I've also helped out at the farmer's market a bunch selling the produce, and loved getting to know people in my community!"

Natalie: "Lately I've been watching one of my favorite summer shows, Extreme Weight Loss. As for hobbies, I've started to try and organize more with cute containers and decorate them so they'll be pretty on a shelf but have a storage purpose."

Emily: "This summer I've tried to take advantage of the clear skies by taking my daughter to several parks, going strawberry and blackberry picking and having fun running around outside in the kiddie pool and sprinklers. As a family we also just got back from a really fun vacation and, in our down time, have enjoyed streaming movies and TV shows on Netflix. Right now my husband and I are really into White Collar, whereas my daughter has been loving Daniel Tiger."

3 Content Marketing Lessons from BoJack Horseman: BoJack Horseman is one of my favorite new shows to binge-watch; it's off-the-wall, satirical and witty. After devouring Season 2 on the day it came out, I've already seen the series multiple times over and was impressed with Netflix's new strategy. By creating their own shows in a line of 'Original Series,' Netflix is showing that content marketing is here to stay. Here are three lessons I picked up from watching BoJack Horseman.
