THREE GIRLS GOSSIP

Happy Ice Cream Month! Just in case you needed an excuse, grab yourself a scoop of your favorite flavor and be sure to indulge. What does Three Girls' staff think about this delectable frozen treat? Here are our thoughts:

Erika: "My current favorite flavor is the Original Moose Tracks. I'm a huge fan of moose, so I love the name and logo, but it's what's in the container that counts! It's premium vanilla bean ice cream with a fudge swirl and mini peanut butter cups. I like to top it with Ghirardelli Premium Chocolate Sauce. Yum! As far as ice cream shops go, you can't beat Fenton's in the San Francisco Bay Area. The old-fashioned soda fountain spot has been around since the 50's. They make all their own ice creams and even their 'small' sundaes are big enough for 2 or 3 people to share."

Emily: "I love so many different types of ice cream! I was allergic to it for the first 28 years of my life, so now that I'm not, I take almost every opportunity to chow down on some ice cream! In terms of favorite flavor, I'd probably pick cookie dough or something with chocolate, caramel and waffle cone pieces (Ben & Jerry's and Haagen Dazs have flavors). I also love getting creative at Coldstone, although my favorite shop is Fenton's as Erika mentioned above, too. Their ice cream sundaes are both delicious and huge!"

Natalie: "My all time favorite ice cream flavor is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. I think my favorite ice cream memories are when my dad and I used to go to DQ during the summer and get Blizzard and walk around a nearby park in Tumwater, WA."

Beth: "I love all things coconut, so that is naturally my favorite flavor of ice cream. The best part about it is how rich, creamy and refreshing it is on a hot day, and I'm always reminded of spending time on vacation. I enjoy it both with coconut shavings mixed inside it and without, or as a sorbet; I'll take all kinds!"

TIPS & TRICKS
Social Media Marketing Tips from a Two-Year-Old: What can a 2-and-a-half-year-old teach you about social media marketing? A lot, actually. As I was thinking about advice for managing Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or LinkedIn, my daughter kept coming to mind. Sometimes approaching social media marketing with the freshness of a child can give your campaign new life. Here are 4 nuggets of advice gleaned from my daughter.

[Creative Content Marketing] 3 Great Summer Approaches: Recently while listening to Pandora, I heard an interesting instance of content marketing that I found to be a great approach. Not a likely contender to make a music station, underwear producer Fruit of the Loom created a summer mix that was breezy and enjoyable! (I listened to it while writing this post.) Filled with hits like Bitter Sweet Symphony and classics like Summer In The City, the station had a great vibe which fit perfectly with the brand's summer campaign. In addition to Fruit of the Loom's curated station, here are two more instances of creative content marketing this summer.

3 Social Media Lessons from Bonnie and Clyde: Over the weekend I found myself re-watching one of my all-time favorite movies, "Bonnie and Clyde." The 1967 film follows Bonnie Parker, Clyde Barrow and the rest of the Barrow Gang as they tear through multiple states robbing banks and gas stations, all while trying to outsmart the law. While watching the movie, I noticed that the infamous outlaws practiced many lessons we use in social media. Here are three lessons from Bonnie and Clyde.
