Hi Friends & Colleagues,

Happy Friday! Are you excited for Thanksgiving? Although it's still a couple of weeks away, I can't wait! I've started baking for the season and have made some pumpkin cranberry scones and pumpkin chocolate chip bread. I'm also looking forward to being another year older and wiser; my birthday is on November 25th! Just as a head's up, Three Girls Media will close at 12:00pm Pacific on Wednesday, November 26th and reopen at 9:00am Pacific on Monday, December 1st. We hope all of you have a wonderful day enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday with friends, family and delicious food.

In the meantime, we've still got a lot going on at Three Girls! In addition to helpful blog posts about how to write a great headline and the ROI of social media, today's issue of Hip Happenings shares a recap of the YWCA Gala we attended last week, a fantastic cause I could use your support with (lest I be sent to jail) and more. Keep reading for the full scoop!

All the best,

THREE GIRLS GOSSIP

Three Girls' Night Out! As we shared in a recent issue of Hip Happenings, Three Girls was named the first ever Business of Achievement by the YWCA-Olympia. Last week most of our team went to the awards banquet and had a wonderful time! We had a blast recognizing other notable women, spending time with each other and, of course, enjoying delicious food. Find out more about it in this blog post, and thanks again to the YWCA!

Happy birthday to Beth! Her special day was full of non-stop surprises. Her brother visited her from Seattle and they went hiking on Kamiak Butte (pictured right). Her husband also planned a scavenger hunt around town of special places. She had a ton of fun!

EXCITING EVENTS

Erika's an MDA Jailbird!

Erika is going "behind bars" again this year to help in the fight against muscle disease! She's joining other community leaders to help raise critical funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and she needs your help to reach her bail!

The Olympia 2014 Lock Up takes place on December 11, 2014, but she's raising her bail before she goes to jail! All you have to do is click here to make a secure, online donation today. Your support will help families living in our community with muscular dystrophy, and help guarantee that she gets out of jail. She will be sure to add you to her list of generous contributors.

Please support Erika in this important goal by visiting her fundraising page and making a contribution to MDA today. Your tax-deductible donation makes a real difference to the hundreds of kids and adults who are suffering with muscular dystrophy, and their families who live right here in Erika's local community.

CLIENT CHITCHAT
We love our clients! Check out two noteworthy businesses we recently posted about on our blog:

CLEVERFIT Collar Stays: A Simple Solution Makes a Big Difference - Gentlemen, do you know what a proper fitting collar stay can do to your dress shirt's appearance? And how do you achieve this look all the time? Sherif Zaki, inventor of CLEVERFIT Collar Stays, has found the answer! After wasting time every morning sorting through flimsy, plastic collar stays, he invented stainless steel, reusable ones! Read more here

AncientStones Ancient Stones Nurturing Naturals: All Natural Makeup - One thing I always wanted was something to put on my face that would set my makeup. As I'm sure it has happened to everyone, I would find my eyeliner smudged in the corner of my eyes and my eye shadow would be virtually gone at day's end. That's why I was excited when I first was given Ancient Stones Nurturing Naturals makeup to try. I loved the pure, natural, holistic aspect of the company. With so many unknown chemicals and ingredients in products, it was nice to see exactly what I was putting on my face. Read more here.
HOT HEADLINES
Have you seen our clients in the news recently? Here are a couple of recent placements we secured:

Better After 50 ran an article by Louise Green about being a plus-size marathon runner. "I strongly believe that no matter what age or size we are, an athlete lives inside all of us - and it's never too late to reach inside and find it. I am 42 years old and a plus size athlete; I am a slow runner but I have tenacity and spirit to get out there and achieve my athletic dreams." Read more here

Mama Smith's Blog reviewed Extra Caddy as a way to save time and energy on the course. "Extra Caddy eliminates the need to drag your whole golf bag full of clubs out on to the course with you. Just grab the couple extra clubs you may need and slide them in the Extra Caddy. You never know when you will go in to the rough, after all. The Extra Caddy holds up to 5 clubs and has a strong, durable handle. It clips on to your bag for easy storage and comes in four colors - black, blue, red, and green." Read more here.
