THREE GIRLS GOSSIP

witch-costume-girl.jpg Happy Halloween! What are your plans tonight? Here's what our team is up to:

Erika: "We have a lot of trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood so we're planning on dressing up (Erika as a pirate and Dennis as a Denver Bronco) and handing out lots of candy! We bought extra this year because last year we almost ran out! We want to enjoy seeing all the kids dressed up and handing our candy this year because next year we'll be in our new house in Rainier where we likely won't get any trick-or-treaters at all."

Emily: "Every year we come up with a family costume, decorate our trunk to match and then park at a friend's house along with other families from our church for trunk-or-treat. In addition to handing out candy, there's hot cider and pictures. It's so fun to see all the cute and fun costumes! Our theme this year? Parks & Recreation!"

Jasmine: "I think I am going trick or treating with my siblings (ages 6 and 8), so that should be cute (and cold)."

Natalie: "I never plan ahead for Halloween, so I think I'm just staying in and handing out candy."

Beth: "I'm going to be spending Halloween with friends in downtown Pullman. We are thinking of going to a haunted house (I love being scared!) and watching some frightening movies! I am going to dress up as a German Bier Girl (to reuse my Oktoberfest costume!) and my husband is going to be a Bavarian guy."

CLIENT CHITCHAT
We love our clients! Check out three noteworthy businesses we recently posted about on our blog:

My Hope Chest: Making a Real Difference for Survivors - At Three Girls Media, one way we're proud to take action to help the breast cancer cause year-round is by supporting My Hope Chest. This national non-profit is the only one in the country that focuses on reconstructive surgery for uninsured and underinsured breast cancer survivors. Why is this important? Find out here

Fitness at EVERY Size: Inspiration from Louise Green - Earlier this year my husband and I started making a concerted effort to be healthier. I began running 2-3 times a week and got back into rowing, which I hadn't done since before my daughter was born. In fact, I even completed my first 5k obstacle course a few weeks ago! I don't look like your typical athlete, but you know what I discovered? It doesn't matter! My muscles became more toned, I had more energy and I felt much more confident in myself. This is exactly what one of our clients, Louise Green, preaches. As she says, "The size of your body doesn't determine your athletic dreams." A plus-size woman herself, she regularly trains and competes in half marathons and races. Read more here

NannySure Helps Keep Children Safe - Trust can be hard for parents to build with their child's caregiver, even if they have known the person for a while or the nanny comes recommended. NannySure is a great way to build trust because it allows you to see your child's day to day activities in real time so you can catch potential problems right away and know that your child is well taken care of. Read this post to see what exactly we love about NannySure.
HOT HEADLINES
Have you seen Three Girls and our clients in the news recently? Here are a couple of recent placements we secured:

Confessions of a Fat Girl interviewed Louise Green as a globally recognized fit and fat athlete at the forefront of a body advocacy movement. "Louise Green's entire campaign really resonates with me. While I can't claim to 100% love myself at this size, I've certainly come to accept it and work with it a little better than I used to. I've stopped feeling sorry for myself. It serves no purpose. And my health is not amazing and perfect, but truth be told, as of a physical I had a few weeks ago, I have a pretty clean bill, which often surprises people who pass judgment based on my appearance alone." The Web Marketing Show interviewed Erika about low cost, highly effective marketing strategies. "In this episode, we speak with Erika Taylor Montgomery from Three Girls Media about what's she's learned from 9 years of running a PR marketing company specializing in helping small business owners in getting press coverage." Read more and hear the interview here.
