How are you celebrating the Independence Day? Here's what the Three Girls team is up to July 4th:
Erika: "We'll be cooking up St. Louis-style ribs in our brand new smoker and then grabbing our dog, Effy, and heading out to the property we just bought in Rainer where the fireworks will probably be a little quieter than in Olympia. Last 4th of July Effy was so traumatized by the bangs, booms and explosions that she shivered uncontrollably and wouldn't come out from under the bed!"
Emily: "We'll be getting together with some friends for a BBQ, shooting off a few fireworks and some nice relaxation."
Paige: "My boyfriend and I will most likely spend the 4th of July barbecuing some delicious food with friends and watching the fireworks over Puget Sound. I'm looking forward to it!"
Jasmine: "Due to a major fear of large crowds and fireworks, I will be traveling to one of the quietest places on Earth for the 4th of July, the scenic Hoh Rainforest and Washington coast. I am excited to spend time with friends and enjoy lots of yummy food cooked over the campfire!"
Eric: "Every year my wife's uncle and his son load up a dock with fireworks; the fuses are intricately woven together so that certain fireworks go off at certain times. At show time the dock is pulled out into Hood Canal and the show lasts about fifteen minutes. It's really a lot of fun. We get to eat good food, spend time with family and enjoy the fireworks display."
Natalie: "I'll be relaxing with our dog, who doesn't handle fireworks well, so I get to stay home and take care of him."
