Are you excited for spring? Tell us why you like this season on our Facebook page! In the meantime, here's what the Three Girls team has to say about this time of year:
Erika: "For me, spring means the beginning of fishing season - it's time to get a new license! It also means planting time in the garden; this year I'm starting a sunflower patch with 6 different varieties! I love to see everything blooming here. Spring also means kayaking season is about to begin. I love fishing in my kayak and am putting the word out to local trout to watch out for me! Here I come! Oh, and spring also marks the approach of grilling season. I can't wait to fire up the BBQ!"
Emily: "As a big San Francisco Giants fan, this time of year means baseball season! Over this past week I've been enjoying watching games and dressing my 16-month-old in Giants clothes. Of course, it's also fun to see the plants blooming. This is one time of year that's gorgeous in the Pacific Northwest!"
Mericia: "What I like about spring is that the weather is finally turning and I'm able to hang out outside without a freezing. Sadly, everything else associated with spring gives me allergies though!"
Stefanie: "I love Seattle in the spring...going to baseball games, cruising down Alki with a slurpee, riding the ferry, walking downtown and just enjoying the Pacific Northwest. My absolute favorite thing to do is pack a picnic and go to one of the beach state parks and admire how beautiful it is. BBQs are a great part of spring too! I think what I love most about spring is that as the weather warms up people come out and there is ample time to spend with friends and family!"
Paige: "Spring means rain! It also means there are only a couple more months until summer! Spring in the Pacific Northwest is pretty; everything is coming out from under the winter sadness and it's time to start doing outdoor activities! I always want to get a dog when spring starts so I can have a running and hiking buddy (not sure that's going to happen this year...) It's time for flowers, egg decorating, prepping for camping season and lighter clothes!"
