THREE GIRLS GOSSIP

A big HAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY to Dennis & Erika! They celebrated by dressing up for a fancy dinner at the Budd Bay Cafe with all sorts of delicious food and desserts including the best Mac n' Cheese and chocolate cake Erika's ever had! Dennis also gave Erika a new sparkly anniversary ring!

Dennis and Erika also recently had fun getting together with Emily and her family to try their hand at a local corn maze. They had a great time wandering the corn, finding check points and getting lost. They also got to see a flock of chickens, a balloon animal maker and enjoy a delicious lunch together.

What else has the team been up to? Mericia recently went to a renaissance faire in Las Vegas! In addition to meeting a monkey named Camille, she saw camels and camel rides, and met all sorts of interesting people who stayed in renaissance character the entire time. Additional highlights included watching ax and knife throwing, shopping in all sorts of medieval shops and enjoying a giant turkey leg!

HOT HEADLINES

We've secured some fantastic coverage for our clients recently! Did you see Adam & Eve's products on Prevention.com?

"Shopping for sex toys used to involve seedy, sectioned-off rooms you'd never want to saunter into. But happily, the industry has gone mainstream (and online), with more Americans than ever proudly partaking in DIY pleasure: 53% of women and just under half of men use vibrators, according to a 2012 survey from Indiana University. And they aren't only being used solo. Another survey found that 94% of people who shopped for sex toys believed the toys were part of a healthy relationship."

TIPS & TRICKS

Bringing Your Social Media Strategy Back to Life: Zombie Edition - A social media strategy can begin to lose its momentum after some time. Sometimes revamping your entire social media strategy is the key to awakening an entirely new approach to the way you connect with your followers. Being able to rise and succeed once again can easily be done. Take zombies for example; although strangely eerie, these creatures of the dead are notorious for being unstoppable. Despite the fact that zombies are not a part of the land of the living, they take a 'by any means necessary' approach to getting what they want. If emerging out of the land of the social media dead is a priority to you, follow these three helpful tips

Content Curation Tips - What is content curation? It is the art of finding, selecting and sharing the best and most relevant content with your community that's related to a particular theme or topic. Content curation is a subset of content marketing. It is not about collecting links or being an information whiz, rather it's about putting that information into relatable context. The goal of content curation is to enhance and add value to your existing content resources, in order to best tell your brands story. Here are a few tips to set you on the right track.

Press Release: 4 Mistakes to Avoid - Oh, the press release. As a small business owner you are being told that the way to a journalist's heart is through a stellar press release, and you are not wrong. In my few years battling in the bunkers of journalism, I weeded my way through many press releases that didn't give me any of the information I needed, thus most often resulting in half hour phone calls to retrieve information I could have gotten in 30 seconds. The point is that there are right and wrong ways to write a press release. Here are a few epic (and easily avoidable) mistakes to steer clear of when pitching your press release to a journalist.
