How was your Labor Day? Here's how the Three Girls team spent the 3-day weekend:
Erika & Dennis checked out Lattin's Cider Mill in Olympia. In addition to buying some fresh apples (Honey Crisp & Ginger Crisp varieties), homemade apple crunch pie, strawberry rhubarb pie and warm apple fritters right out of the fryer, they got to see and feed goats, sheep, several varieties of chickens, turkeys peacocks, ducks, quail and pheasants. They also took a very relaxing walk through their vegetable garden and enjoyed the shade of several enormous apple trees.
Mericia Gonzalez went to a white party at STK restaurant at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. This Hamptons-style party was hosted by singer Frankie Moreno (pictured) and gave her an ultra-swanky end to her Labor Day.
Paige McDaniel had a great weekend full of camping and roller coasters with her mom, brother and sister-in-law! On a whim they bought an inflatable kayak and ventured out onto the lake by their campsite. Unfortunately their pump broke so they had to manually blow the bottom up! After a crackling fire and way too many s'mores they headed to bed and woke up bright and early for a day at Silverwood Theme Park. They got there early and were able to run through some water park rides with short lines and then hit the biggest thrill rides at Silverwood: Panic Plunge, Aftershock and Tremors. Aftershock was her favorite because you went through the whole thing once and then back through it backwards! After a full day at the park, they were exhausted by the time we got back to the campsite and hit the hay only to wake up a couple of hours later to a bear wandering around their campsite! And then the next morning they were attacked by a squirrel launching pine cones on their heads. All in all, it was a great camping trip and an epic Labor Day weekend!

SEO Strategy Tips for Small Business Owners - According to a Google survey, 58% of businesses in the U.S. do not have a website and around 97% of Internet users look for local goods and services online. That's a lot of companies that are missing out on potential business because they are not online. An SEO strategy will help you gain the exposure and visibility in search engines such as Google, Yahoo or Bing. Read this blog post for a few tips to make the process of building brand awareness and establishing your digital identity through SEO a little easier.
Roasted Corn: 5 Marketing Strategy Ideas - While manning a fresh corn on the cob booth over the weekend, I noticed a few marketing strategy concepts that can be implemented for any company. You might not be shucking ears of corn or making Arnold Palmer's for passing tourists, but selling is selling, no matter what the product. Read the blog post here.
Social Media Shelf Life: When Do Your Posts Expire? Did you know that social media posts have a shelf life? I can hope that when you go to the grocery store you pay attention to the little row of ink along the top or bottom of whatever product you're buying. These numbers, prefaced by "Best By," indicate the shelf life of the product - how long the product is good for before it expires. The same principle can be applied to social media. The life of a post varies greatly depending on the social media platform due to the enormous amount of chatter that floods the feeds. Do you know the expiration date of your posts? Find out how long they'll last here.
