THREE GIRLS GOSSIP

A big BON VOYAGE to Three Girls Publicist Stefanie Burger as she travels to Europe for 6 weeks this summer! As part of her Master's degree program, she's been offered the trip to study in Italy for 6 weeks this summer; the trip includes stops in London and France, too! She left earlier this week, so we'll share a few highlights from her trip once she returns.

We'd also like to wish a fond farewell to Three Girls Publicist Daffne Gavidia as she moves on to another amazing career opportunity. Although we'll miss her, we're excited to see what her future holds and wish her well.

What else has the Three Girls team been up to lately? Dennis and Erika are still loving their new digs in Washington! Now that summer weather is hitting, they've had the opportunity to pull out a couple of kayaks and explore a few local lakes. The photos to the right show them enjoying a lake just minutes from their new home.

TIPS & TRICKS

How to Run a Social Media Contest: If you're looking for a fun way to engage your social media fans or gain new ones, running a contest can be a great strategy. Everybody loves a contest because it gives people the opportunity to experience the thrill of winning. Whether your company is giving away something like a t-shirt or a weekend get-away, contests can boost awareness and engagement for consumer brands. The success of your contest relies on how many targeted individuals enter. The response you get is related to the prize you give away, how well you know the platform where you place the contest and how well you promote it. Read this blog post for specific tips and tricks to get you started.

5 Tips to a Successful Press Release: Everyone can look up a template for a press release online, but writing one so that your business gets noticed is a whole other ball game. Whether you have a new company or are trying to introduce to your products to the market, writing strong press releases is a vital part of any business strategy. If you are in need of writing your company's press release, read these five tips to get your business noticed.

Using YouTube to Promote Your Business: Many small businesses don't think to use YouTube as a marketing device - no one wants to watch more commercials then they have to. But customers are curious about what really happens behind the scenes. Ever heard of the show How It's Made? People like to know how things are put together and the process behind a great product; whether it is human or machine made. Believe it or not, customers want to learn and they honestly want to know everything they can before having to speak to an actual person. It's unfortunate, but it's true. Read this post for some examples of YouTube video angles you can use to promote your business.
