Tonto Verde Clubhouse is excited to NOW offer an upscale gourmet market convenience to our membership...our own online "Chefs' Market Place!"
Can't make it to the grocery store? Packed schedule, golf games, unseen obligations or out of town visitors?...With a few simple clicks, you now have access to an online shopping convenience that offers the same high quality standards that you are accustomed to receiving in our restaurant!
Chefs' Market Place offers you a fresh convenient way to purchase ready-to-cook, quality aged in-house Sterling hand cut steaks, fresh fish and seafood, garden-fresh, hand selected produce, a variety of breads and cheeses and much, much more.
It's quick and easy! Go to the tontoverde.org website, login to the member area, click on the Dining tab, look for Chefs' Market Place in the left hand menu and click! You now have access to Tonto's own online, upscale, gourmet market place!
Now for the details.... Place your order before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday and you will receive the order the same day! Orders placed on a Monday and/or a legal holiday or after 8:30 a.m. will be filled the following business day. Orders must be picked up between 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse hostess counter. A minimum order of $25 (plus sales tax) is required. All orders will be charged to your member account; no credit cards will be accepted. TVA rewards discounts will not
apply to Chefs' Market Place orders.
We're excited to introduce this concept and continually strive to provide a great experience and convenience to our membership! Chefs' Market Place...it's like dining at a fine restaurant in the privacy of your own home!

Mark your calendar for the Tonto Verde Home Tour. This year the tour will feature five houses. There will be a luncheon buffet click here for menu and click here for a list of our Boutique vendors. Wine tasting and food demonstrations will also be part of the venue at the Tonto Verde Club House the day of the tour.
Exquisite Gourmet Wine Baskets will be raffled off this year and will be on display at the Tonto Verde Club House. Raffle tickets for the wine baskets are - one ticket for $5, three for $10, and eight for $20. Raffle tickets sold day of the event. All TV & RV residents can charge their tickets to their Club accounts!

$100,000 of eFun at the 2016 Tonto Verde Charity Roundup
Over $100,000 was raised for VerdeCares, Arizona Alzheimer's Consortium, Arizona DAV and Sunshine Acres at the March 3, 2016 Tonto Verde Charity Roundup. The objective for the event was to raise as much money as possible for the four charities and to make sure all the participants had a ton of fun doing it.
And fun we had. As in prior years, the event consisted of golf scramble and best ball events, silent and live auctions and a terrific dinner. But there were lots of new ways to have fun this year. First, was a transition to electronic bidding where anyone from the community could bid from their smart phones or tablets from anywhere. While a few folks tangled with the change, the majority of the attendees enjoyed it and placed 600 bids from all around the clubhouse, the course and their homes. We also had a Golden Ticket raffle in which the winner got to select their choice of the live auction items. Congrats to Bob and Phyllis O'Roark on winning and selecting a Hawaii condo for a week. The live auction was the liveliest ever with over $35,000 raised due to 11 donations by generous community members. The bidding on the Green Bay Packer suite, donated by the Gabrielse's was one of the most fun to watch as the winning bid was for $6,500 and then Tim and Kris donated a 2nd package for another $6,000. The Verdes' Volunteer National Forest Clean-up Team Receives Certificate of Excellence!
As many of you are aware, volunteers living in the Verdes' communities work with the Tonto National Forest and the Cave Creek Ranger District throughout the year. Their final work day of this season was on Saturday, Feb 27 th. Crews split into two teams to accomplish all the tasks;one team worked on the new parking lot at the end of Box Bar Road, removing vegetation to prepare for the leveling and surfacing of the parking lot for horse trailers.  Golf Cart Safety
Spring break is upon us and this is just a friendly reminder that children without a driver's license are prohibited from driving a golf cart in the community. It was brought to our attention that there was a golf cart incident in Rio Verde community, whereby a grandson driving a golf cart with grandma, flipped the cart resulting in the grandson having a concussion and a lot of scrapes. Grandma was all bruised up and for Grandpa, well his golf cart was totaled!
