Dear CLC Members:
As we say goodbye to 2014, we will also be saying goodbye to Gaylord Bros Inc., one of our long-time library supplies bid contractors. As of December 31, 2014, Gaylord will no longer be in the library supply business, and our contract with Gaylord for library supplies, equipment, and archival materials will end.
Beginning January 1, 2015, Demco Inc. will become the exclusive provider of a number of the most popular Gaylord products. Demco has agreed whenever possible to honor CLC contract pricing on the bid items originally awarded to Gaylord, and to offer substitutes for discontinued Gaylord items for the term of our supply contract.
CLC members may continue to place orders (including discontinued items) under the contract terms and prices with Gaylord through the end of December. Below is a list of the two products the CLC contract awarded to Gaylord that will be discontinued without a comparable replacement. Demco is offering comparable replacement items on all but these two bid items:

Please note that the list of discontinued/no replacement products above includes only those specific products awarded to Gaylord on our itemized bid. There may be other Gaylord products that you have ordered that have also been discontinued. Gaylord and Demco have created a website to help with the transition. We will be sending out a new library supplies price list before January 1, which will replace our existing price list. Please be on the lookout for this important update.
