Weekly "Dicho con Café"
"El que solo se engańa, que no se queje."
The author's translation is:
"Whoever deceives himself should not complain."
What this means is that you have no one to blame except yourself if you deceive yourself by making excuses on why you did this or didn't do that. No one is to blame for your action or lack of action except you! Therefore, when making excuses blame the one you see in the mirror because it is no one else's fault except yours!

More About John A. Flores
One of the most interesting visits made by Mr. Flores when he was teaching abroad was to a couple of concentration camps in Poland, the most notable being Auschwitz! He visited the Dachau camp, but all that remained of that camp were the foundations of the buildings that used to sit there. However, at Auschwitz, the buildings, basements, crematoriums and execution walls were all preserved, as a reminder of the evil that was carried out within its barbed wire fences. It was an overwhelming experience to visit the cellar where the Nazi's first carried out their gas experiments and view the numerous crematoriums where hundreds of thousands of bodies were cremated over time as the Nazi war machine tried to rid the world of Jews. He visited the barracks where inmates were kept, as well as some of the places where they were tortured and executed. As he toured the site, the one satisfying note of the visit was when he was informed that the concentration camp commander was executed at the same wall as where he sent so many innocent men and women to their fate. Mr. Flores bought a book with many pictures of the camp and its inmates some showing mothers with their children walking toward the crematoriums not realizing that in a few minutes, they would all be gassed and cremated. It was a very somber experience for Mr. Flores to walk the same grounds and visit the horrible places where so much suffering occurred. It is truly unfortunate to know that inhumane torture and suffering continues to exist in many parts of the world, and despite all that happened during World War II, man has yet to learn to live in peace.
