Weekly "Dicho con Café"
"El alfabetismo es enemigo de la esclavitud."
The author's translation is:
"Literacy is the enemy of slavery."
What this means is those that are not educated will be at the beck and call of those that do have education. Those that don't have an education will in essence be the "slaves" of those that do have an education which has put them in a position of authority as business owners, managers and other positions that direct others as to what to do. Education gives you the freedom that you need to be able to seek out your wealth in life.

More About John A. Flores
With a new year and a couple of weeks of holiday spirit behind him, it is time to get back to the habits and practices that are what makes a person successful in life so Mr. Flores is once again exploring the real estate market looking for opportunities that will provide for some sound investments. He will also begin visiting schools and organizations promoting his books, coloring books and posters in order to spread the word on the usage of dichos to motivate and provide direction to the youth of today and for that matter, including adults! He is also beginning to set aside dates in which he has been invited to speak to parents and teachers at different locations. A new year offers opportunities that were not there before, but it's up to each and everyone as to what they want to do with their life this coming year. Each one of us has to answer the question as to what can we do to make this year a better year than 2012. For Mr. Flores, it's another challenge to his abilities to put things together and he looks forward to a fruitful and exciting 2013!
