Delaware: Sunday Hunting Bill Signed into Law
On July 19, Delaware House Bill 289 (DE HB 289) was signed into law by Governor Jack Markell providing sportsmen and women the opportunity to hunt deer on five specified Sundays on private lands at landowner discretion and on public lands as designated by government agencies. DE HB 289 was championed by the bipartisan, bicameral Delaware Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus. All four of the Caucus Co-Chairs, as well as many other Caucus Members sponsored the bill, and the Caucus hosted several policy meetings on Sunday hunting throughout the 2016 legislative session to educate fellow legislators on the positive benefits of Sunday hunting...

CSF NEWS

The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation recently hosted events at both the Republican National Convention (RNC) on July 19, and the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on July 26...

CSF is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2016 Brad Rowse Fellow Internship Program. Brad Rowse Fellows at the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) will have the opportunity to learn the importance of the policy process related to hunting, angling, recreational shooting, trapping, and other conservation issues impacting sportsmen and women. This is a paid internship with a stipend of up to $1000 a month, and academic credit is strongly supported. 

Joel Hodgdon joined the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) as the Great Lakes States Coordinator in June of 2016. As a member of CSF's States Program Team, Joel works closely with state legislators within the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses and governors within the Governors Sportsmen's Caucus from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin...

Taylor Schmitz joined the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) in July of 2016 as the Event and Development Coordinator. Before his start as a full-time employee, Taylor served as CSF's Event and Development Intern after graduating from Frostburg State University in May 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice...
