On January 14, the Delaware Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus hosted its first meeting of the 2016 legislative session at the state capitol in Dover, Delaware.  The bipartisan and bicameral Caucus is chaired by Senators Bruce Ennis and Brian Pettyjohn, and Representatives Jeff Spiegelman and William Carson. Over a dozen legislators attended the meeting to discuss legislative priorities for the upcoming year...

On January 7, the New Hampshire House of Representatives passed HB 500 (184-124), which will now move on to the Senate. Sponsored by New Hampshire Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus member Representative John Burt, the bill would allow sportsmen and women in the Granite State to use suppressors while hunting. While suppressors are already legal to own in New Hampshire, their use in the field is currently restricted...

South Dakota Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus Hosts Inaugural Reception
On January 12, the South Dakota Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus, the 47th state to join the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC), hosted an inaugural reception, bringing together over 60 members of the South Dakota legislature as well as representatives from sportsmen's groups, the Governor's office, outdoor industry, and the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks...

Recently, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) announced the appointment of three new members to serve on its Board of Directors: Brad Johnson, Chairman & CEO of United Sporting Companies; Larry Keane, Senior Vice President, Assistant Secretary and General Counsel to the National Shooting Sports Foundation; and Joshua Waldron, CEO of SilencerCo.  They were elected to three-year terms expiring in 2018...

The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) is pleased to announce that Soren Nelson and Wesley Womack have joined the State Program Team this week. Soren joins CSF as a Western States Coordinator, co-managing sportsmen's issues with CSF's Western States Director in Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada. Wesley will serve as a Midwestern Coordinator, where he will work alongside Midwestern States Director on sportsmen's issues in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota...
