The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) would like to thank our supporters and 
readers this year for being part of the mission to protect and advance our hunting, angling, recreational shooting and trapping traditions. This will be the final edition of The Sportsmen's Voice for 2015, but we look forward to continuing to provide you with the most up-to-date news on the issues affecting America's sportsmen and women in 2016.

On December 4, President Obama signed into law the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, which included a provision reauthorizing the Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund (Trust Fund) through 2020. Reauthorizing the Trust Fund was a priority for the nation's boating and angling communities, and many bipartisan Members of the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus worked to ensure the inclusion of the Trust Fund's reauthorization in the bill... 

On December 15, the FY2016 Omnibus bill was released, and includes funding for several actions important to America's sportsmen and women...

CSF Hosts Southeast Wild Pig Policy Forum
On December 9 and 10, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF), working in conjunction with the Mississippi State University's Center for Resolving Human-Wildlife Conflict and Wildlife Mississippi, hosted an informative policy forum focused on wild pigs in the southeast region...

On December 16, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF), the most respected and trusted sportsmen's organization in the political arena, announced today that it received an extended three-year grant from the Cabela's Outdoor Fund. During the next three years, funds received from the grant will be used to help support CSF's ongoing mission to work with federal and state legislators to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping in the halls of government...
