Delaware Becomes 48th State to Join the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses
The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) is pleased to announce the addition of the bipartisan Delaware Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus as the 48th state to join the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC).  Caucus Chairs will include Representatives Jeff Spiegelman and William Carson, Jr., and Senators Bruce Ennis and Brian Pettyjohn, and will serve as the leaders of the Caucus in the Delaware General Assembly for the state's 177,000 hunters and anglers...

Michigan Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus Hosts 3rd Breakfast Briefing of 2015
On September 10, the Michigan Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus (MLSC) hosted a breakfast briefing in Lansing, Michigan, where over 60 members of the MLSC were joined by representatives from the sportsmen's-conservation community and Department of Natural Resources staff. The third breakfast briefing of the year, these regular gatherings play a vital role in keeping the Caucus informed on issues related to Michigan's sportsmen and women. The breakfast briefing was sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) and also received support from a National Hunting and Fishing Day Grant...

Wisconsin Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus Hosts First Annual "Cast n Blast"
On September 21, just five days before the state officially recognized National Hunting and Fishing Day, the Wisconsin Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus (WLSC) hosted their first ever "Cast n Blast" event. The sun shined on Yellowstone Lake State Park, where the event was held, making it an ideal day for sportsmen's community members, Department of Natural Resources (DNR) staff, Department of Tourism staff, and outdoor industry representatives to join WLSC members for a day of fishing and shooting...

On Wednesday, October 14, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) will partner with CSF Honorary Board Member and NASCAR legend Richard Childress to host the 11th annual "Wine, Wheels & Wildlife" event at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina. It will bring together a variety of CSF supporters; including members from the sportsmen's community, NASCAR representatives, sportsmen's conservation and other outdoor organizations, and state and federal legislators. The event will include a reception, dinner, auction, and outdoor activities.

NASC Sportsman-Legislator Summit - Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for the 12th Annual National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC) Sportsman-Legislator Summit. The Summit provides an opportunity for caucus members and partners to collaborate and devise year-long strategies to advance sportsmen's interests in state legislatures. This year, discussion topics include: lead ammunition bans, strategies for promoting the value of hunting and angling to the public, and key fisheries issues, among others. In addition, attendees will discuss the wide range of challenges currently facing America's sportsmen and women, along with the strategies necessary to overcome those challenges to protect and advance America's outdoor heritage, traditions, and sportsmen-generated conservation dollars in the years to come.
