In the Legislature

On Thursday, May 5, LANtec management attended a Labor & Industrial Relations House Committee meeting in reference to proposed changes to the current Incumbent Worker Training Program (HB 373 Substitute).  
This bill was deferred much to the elation of training providers, employers and stakeholders from the Louisiana Workforce Commission and the Governor's office.  

We are happy to report the IWTP program will remain intact as-is for the benefit of all Louisiana employers through at least July 2018.
