Please note: Tuesday through Friday there is a "Zero Period." All teachers are available in their classrooms from 7:20 - 7:50 a.m. to offer extra help to students.

Becky Wilde

Becky Wilde will be returning as the social worker at BCHS for the 2016-2017 school year. Becky will be on campus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays during school hours. Please plan ahead and register for these upcoming SAT and ACT test dates: ACT and SAT dates and deadlines.

Senior Parents
Lilly Endowment Nominations due Aug. 16
The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Nomination form is due Aug. 16. Only seniors are eligible to apply. The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship deadlines are significantly earlier this year. Because there is a limit to the number of students BCHS can nominate for the scholarship, you must meet certain qualifications and complete our internal application form. Click here for details.

Football season kicks off on Friday, August 12!
Southport High School at 7 p.m.



Kickoff for the Trojan football season is this Friday, August 12, at 7 p.m. with the preseason scrimmage against Perry Meridian. The game is at Perry Stadium at Southport High School. 


Broadcasting of the BCHS Football Games
To listen to the games, visit this link and click "on air" to hear the broadcast. Broadcasts begin with the first regular season game on August 19.

Join the BCHS Athletic Booster Club!
With the Fall athletic season almost upon us, it is time to complete your membership to the BCHS Athletic Booster Club for the 2016-17 school year. Submit your registration or renewal now to join us for the early Fall season activities!


After we receive your Booster Club registration or renewal, we will have your membership items (season passes, decals or membership gift, if applicable) available for pick-up at Back-to-School Night on August 24, at the home volleyball game on August 25, or the first home football contest on August 26 at Lawrence Central. You may also pick up your membership items from the BCHS Athletic Office. Membership applications may also be filled out and submitted at these events.

Physical Education Students: 
All physical education students are asked to bring in a Master Combination lock that he/she will use throughout the year specifically for P.E.  We ask that all students bring in their locks by Monday, August 15. Thank you!

Bishop Chatard will be publishing its 2016-2017 student directory soon. We are switching to an online directory this year to give students and families easier access to information. If you do not want your student's information published, please opt out by completing this form
From the Campus Ministry Office
Information regarding retreats and student assignments can be found on the BCHS website under Campus Ministry/retreats. Retreat dates can also be found there. Permission forms for all retreats will be available by mail and online. Click Retreats to view the page. 


Please note: The Sophomore retreat has been changed from an overnight retreat at CYO Camp Rancho Framasa to a one-day retreat.  
#TrojanStorm Flags
Flags are currently available in the spirit shoppe. Car flags and decals continue to be available as well. Fly the flag and join the Trojan Storm! 


The BCHS Blue Crew is looking for help at some of our athletic and fundraising events.  We will be asking for help throughout the year, but at this time we are looking for volunteers for August and September.

 Join over 600 Bishop Chatard fans to support the efforts of Bishop Chatard High School at our Annual Fund Dinner. The Annual Fund raises money to care for our two most important assets - our students and our teachers. These funds 
support and strengthen our already significant teacher compensation and our financial aid efforts to ensure the foundation our students receive at Bishop Chatard will endure and expand into the future.
 
On this special evening, we also take a look back over the past year to honor some outstanding people in our community with our Achievement Awards. Click here to read about this year's honorees.

2016 BCHS Golf Outing
Friday, September 23
Hillcrest Country Club


This year, the annual BCHS golf outing will take place on Friday, Sept. 23, as part of the Trojan Homecoming Weekend! This event is a Florida Scramble with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Participation and sponsorship proceeds from the event support tuition assistance through the Harv Sutton Fund.

Price includes meal both before and after play, drinks on the course, and much more! 

Individual golfers - $150
Alumni, age 30 and under - $100
Foursome - $600
Alumni foursome, age 30 and under - $400
