The 2014 filing season is here!  My website has been updated with the latest information, product pricing (mostly unchanged), forms, dates, and most importantly...links to making an appointment.  I begin taking appointments on February 6th but please try to use my online booking to schedule a time slot.  ALL of my available times are in that system.

Limited Time Referral Increase!!

 

The last couple of years have seen a drop in my client numbers and I'm guessing my numerous moves have been a big factor.  In an effort to combat this growing concern, I'm offering a limited time referral fee increase.  If you refer someone to me and they book an appointment through March 15th, you will receive 20% off next year's fees instead of the normal 10%.  So spread the word!  NOTE: The new client will still get 10% off their fee as a new client with a coupon.

IRSThe IRS says that it takes an average of four hours for a person to complete and submit a Form 1040.  You can add at least another hour if you also have to complete a state return.  So how much is your time worth?  A recent survey of tax preparers conducted by NSA reported the average fees charged as follows:
$208-303 for a Form 1040 with Schedule A and One State Tax Return
$218 for a Form 1040 Schedule C (business)
$590 for a Form 1065 (partnership)
$806 for a Form 1120 (corporation)
$761 for a Form 1120S (S Corporation)
$497 for a Form 1041 (fiduciary)
$667 for a Form 990 (tax exempt)
$63 for a Form 940 (Federal unemployment)
$142 for Schedule D (gains and losses)
$165 for Schedule E (rental)
$196 for Schedule F (farm)
