When the new building for the ITLA Headquarters was finished it was decided to preserve in posterity the brands of those who have contributed to making the building a reality. Silent Auction, Social Highlight Successful Oregon Event
About 70 people attended the April 16 Fey Longhorn Ranch Sale & Social at Yamhill, Oregon, southwest of Portland. The unique silent auction format was well received. Host Daniel Fey observed that "it gave people a chance to look at the cattle, talk to their friends or meet new folks in a relaxed environment." Those attending included experienced breeders, new buyers and people who were just curious about Texas Longhorns. The Longhorn chili and cornbread prepared by hostess Angelina Fey was a hit with the guests, many of whom enjoyed a glass of Oregon Pinot Noir...(continued)...
