Barnstable Seafarms has Barnstable Harbor Oysters available for sale and we are ready to do a raw bar for your special occasion. This has been our busiest season yet, so book early. Also save the date for the Barnstable Oyster Fest September 21 at the Long Pasture Audubon Sanctuary.

Farmers' Markets
This is the month for local berries, raspberries, blueberries and redcurrants at the Falmouth Farmers' Market. Look for cukes and zukes, summer squashes, beets, peas, beans - plus corn, peppers and tomatoes later in the month. Cape Cod Fish Share will offer fresh-caught fish and shellfish, and Cape Cod Saltworks will be harvesting salt from the sea. We'll also carry local eggs from Da Silva Farm, regional cheeses, breads and pastries (including gluten-free) honey, pickles and preserves. Peachtree Circle Farm, famous for its garlic, will have its festive garlic harvest some time this month. Bass River Farmers Market features 22 vendors over the two days, offering locally grown and prepared foods. Items range from fruits and vegetables, organic vegetables, jams, soups, sauces, honey, breads, scents, soaps, herbs, plants and more. Artists from the Cultural Center of Cape Cod will also be displaying their wares outside the cultural center during the market. Weekly entertainment will be at the market from 10 AM until Noon every Thursday morning featuring guest artists from the local community, including Kathleen Healy, Catherine King, Greg Hischack, Fred Monthei, and numerous other artist throughout the summer. Master Gardeners will be at the market every Thursday from 9:00-Noon to answer any questions about gardening on Cape Cod. There will be cooking demonstrations on July 18, August 15, and September 12. There will be a Story Walk for Children, Saturday July 20, 2013 and August 24, 2013. The Osterville Farmers' Market Summer Sampler upcoming on July 14th from 5 to 7 p.m. It is a casual Cape Cod evening under our tent highlighting the best fresh, local food around.
