Salt production for Cape Cod Saltworks Sea Salt returns to the greenhouse at Cape Abilties Farm, Rt. 6A, Dennis, where we hope to see old friends and new faces throughout the season. And, we are excited to introduce Cape Cod Saltworks Beach Bark which is available for sale at the Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans.  But wait, if you have a yen for salted caramel... we are about to unveil a new Cape Cod Saltworks caramel as well!  Stay tuned. The farmer's markets are in full swing.  Stop by, we love talking to people and introducing them to our 100% natural, unprocessed, hand harvested, artisanal Cape Cod Sea Salt... a sip of the sea... it makes a great gift for home chefs, amateur cooks, and master grillers! ".... from our beach to your table!"

Cape Abilities Farm on Route 6A in Dennis is in full swing-and full bloom! We have a new greenhouse and retail area with an amazing array of beautiful flowers, both annual and perennial, and plants for your garden, including heirloom tomato plants, peppers, herbs and more. The farm has fresh lettuce, cucumbers and award-winning tomatoes-come on down and get yours! Want fresh produce every week? Hawks Wing Farm will have strawberry picking mid-June.

In the Weeds Flowerfarm has beautiful fresh cut flowers on the farmstand, weigila, enkianthus, iris, cosmos, solomon's seal, catmint bouquets mixed with assorted wildflowers and beautiful local greens. Some starts available: morning glories, tomatoes, asters, extras that I have started too many of. The fields are getting planted. Slowly but surely and I am looking forward to a wonderful field full of fresh tomatoes, other vegetables  and oodles of flowers. I will have an abundance of summer squashes and zucchini this year as the seeds got wet by mistake and had to all be planted, so I am looking forward to enough squash to feed everyone on the Cape and Islands.

Farmers' Markets

This year at the Mid-Cape Farmers Market we are starting a "recipe of the week" program. Every week we will have a new recipe available for cooking fresh vegetables based on what's at the market. The recipes are offered to give you a new way to prepare vegetables either as a main dish or side dish and they will be available at the managers tent!
