Cape Cod Organic Farm's Summer 2013 CSA Program is still accepting members! The program will run 19 weeks, 19 weeks from May 29-Oct 2, and pickup will be at our Farmstand 3675 Main Street (Route 6A), Barnstable, on Wednesdays from 9-5:30. Cost this year will be $650, and includes our delicious, Certified Organic Produce all grown on premises, our own Certified Organic Eggs, and a U-Pick Herb and Flower Garden where members can pick weekly at pickup. Cape Cod Fish Share Web Enrollment had ENDED for the Early Spring Share. However, you can still join this share. Pro-rated shares are available at each pickup location. Should fish be available, your share could start that day. if not, it would start the following week. Please bring a check with you. TenofUs Farm has fresh pork that has just arrived from processing, smoked meat will be in in two weeks. New this year we have sweet and hot Italian sausage that is linked in natural casings.

Seawind Meadows, LLC has just received back the butcher the first of the season all natural grass fed and finished highland beef as well as their pork and sausage.  You may contact them directly or wait for the farmers market season! In the Weeds Flower Farm's stand is loaded with fresh tulips and pussywillow bouquets. Daffodils are slow but there will be hundreds. Twig and driftwood wreaths are also available.

Halcyon Farm will be finalizing our Mega Grant that we received from MDAR this past winter.  The capital will be used to drill our very own irrigation well for our crops.  The rest of the funds will go towards some precision seeders and specialty harvesting tools to increase production of our artisan salad greens. Also we are thrilled to announce that our farm stand on Rt.6A in Brewster will be open this season on a regular basis! Hours of operation will be Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday and Friday afternoons from 1pm - 6pm. Our doors will be open beginning Memorial Day weekend in May and stay open late into the fall season. Also, we are hosting a farm stand open house at the farm on Friday April 12th.  Just a gathering a wonderful people to celebrate spring and to show everyone what we have been up to all winter.  There will be a seed swap table, some light snacks and Cape Cod Beer on tap!  Dance party to follow! The physical address is Halcyon Farm 3915 Main St. (Rt.6A) Brewster.

Monday, May 27th Memorial Day, Visit Miss Scarlett's Blue Ribbon Farm 10:00-5:00, all vegetable and herb seedlings are Buy One Get One. Friday, June 14th Flag Day, 10:00-5:00, Celebrate as we invite all public service and military personnel (active or retired) to receive their free vegetable seedling. Sunday, June 16th Father's Day, Miss Scarlett invites all dads to the Farm from 11:00-3:00 to receive a delightful herb or flower plant.

The Harwich Farmers' Market will be featuring a new website www.harwichfarmersmarket.org for the coming season.  Check it out to find the latest information.  The market opens on Thursday, June 13 for the 2013 season and will feature a variety of local produce, herbs, cut flowers, baked goods, meats, and value added farm products.      

Hyannis Farmers Market will be at the Baptist Church, on Wednesdays, 2pm to 6pm, June 5 through October 23. This year, in addition to music we will also be featuring a "Recipe of the Week" which will focus on an ingredient(s) available that week at the market.
