Cape Cod Harvest Calendar

The easiest way to find out what's in season locally is to use the Cape Cod Harvest calendar for info on veggies, fruits, herbs and sweeteners.  When you click on one of the products on the left you'll get a list of farms that have it!

Although it is still Winter, we have been busy at Cape Cod Saltworks Sea Salt.  At the end of February, we were featured as part of an All Local dinner sponsored by SBN Boston Local Food at The Granary Tavern.  Chef Keenan Langlois prepared a delicious, three course dinner using Cape Cod Saltworks Sea Salt.  Closer to home, we are proud to say our Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart was named "most decadent" dessert at this year's Osterville Chocolate Fest.  Check out our facebook page to see pictures and the recipe... (don't forget to like us on facebook!) Jan did a great job handling the Chocolate Fest AND the Hyannis Country Garden Tasty Table. As we move toward Spring, our partnership and plans working with the folks at CapeAbilities are taking shape. When the snow clears, you will have an opportunity to see the Saltworks up and running again at the CapeAbilites Farm on route 6A in Dennis. We cannot say enough good things about the all the folks at the Farm!  Although there is almost a month left of Winter, (and March can be fickle), we  look forward to warmer days at the beach, farmer's markets! and lots of salty products. Keeping our boots and gloves ready by the door, we prefer sandals and sunscreen!

Visitors to Cape Cod Beer are now able to sell beer by the pint and host events at the brewery, and will be opening of a beer garden late spring. We have announced our calendar of beer releases on our website, and encourage people to check that out, or follow us on Twitter or Facebook. As of March 1 we will be pouring the regulars: Blonde, Red & IPA, plus seasonal Porter, Old Man Winter, and specialty beers: Biere de Mars, and Imperial IPA.  In March we release StarGazer Stout. Watch for details for our SECOND annual EARTH DAY event here at the brewery!

Cape Cod Fish Share's Next Share begins end of March!
