A workshop designed specifically for mothers + daughters (aged 9 - 14) - It's perfect, I thought, and immediately signed us up. We will hang together for the day, enjoy each other's company, and strengthen the bond between us while doing so...except that not everything unfolded as planned....scroll down to find out what happened!

Mother and Daughter...
I've always enjoyed following Grandma K's posts on Facebook, and when she advertised a workshop designed for Moms and Daughters, I immediately signed myself and my 11 year old daughter up. Time spent with my daughter as she leaves behind her little girl ways and approaches her tween years is miraculous and confusing all at the same time. She is my only child, so never having experienced this stage before, I was completely open to Grandma K's suggestions and thought nothing could be more helpful to keep us connected than spending a day focused on each other...
