"If you could have a super power, what would it be?" This question was asked at a Netweaving event I attended. My super power would be the ability to infuse confidence, courage and humor into people by a mere touch. This is in alignment with my purpose "to help people acknowledge their greatness." What would you like for a super power?
We had another great success at the 2016 Having It All: Secrets Successful Women Know to be Relevant, Credible and Influential. The room was full and the excitement was palpable. As always, I had a great time talking with the NCPMI Leadership Community about Leadership Style in March.
The Triangle NC Ellevate Chapter continues to grow. The uniqueness of Ellevate is the diversity of membership. The Board members span five generations. Women who might never otherwise have met have the opportunity to expand their network and sphere of influence. I hope that you will join us for a Mix and Mingle soon. www.ellevatenetwork.com Dona Lerner, Kathy Coates of the Dona Lerner Golf Academy and I continue to work towards an event in the fall. This event is for women who want to learn about golf - as well as those who play. Finally, I taught a class for OLLI at Duke University in March, "So You Think You Want To Be A Consultant." During the four week class, one woman realized that she did not want to be a consultant. Another woman acknowledged that she really wants to write a book - not consult and another person made a connection to begin her consulting business. This non-credit class is a perfect example of Netweaving. Friendships and relationships were made and one of the other OLLI instructors visited my class and became a client! I have two new assessments to help in my coaching business. One is to determine Leadership Style and the other is to measure Emotional Intelligence. Contact me to learn more for you or your team.

Silver Connections is an active group of young, age 55+ adults who live in the Triangle area of North Carolina and have the wonderful restaurants, events and activities to enjoy!
Silver Connections takes advantage of all the area has to offer! Am I making a difference?
Does my life matter?

As women, we start asking ourselves these questions with increasing urgency once we turn 50. We want to live fulfilling, meaningful lives, but often feel marginalized in a society that values youth and physical beauty. It becomes more of a challenge for us to retain a sense of value, so we must be proactive in making our life choices.
