Women's Leadership Matters - As women assume leadership roles we change the leadership environment - and that matters.
Women in Leadership deal with different Matters than do men - work / life balance, flexibility, overcoming adversity, mentoring, negotiation skills and authenticity are only a few of the matters with which we deal.

"I have to hold back when I speak at work because I'm so forceful I  intimidate the guys," Portia told me. She continued, "I soften my comments with "Maybe I'm wrong but...," or "If it is okay with you I'd like to offer my opinion...," or It's no big deal, but..."
"Portia, my dear, you are giving away your power," I replied. "You won't intimidate the men in your office, don't kid yourself and if you do intimidate them - so what? How will you ever be perceived as an equal if you do not speak with them at their level?"
