This Valentine's Day, we want to say 'THANK YOU' for your support. We enjoy sharing the love and compassion we have for animals with you. Luckily, ideas are changing and more and more people don't think we are "crazy" because we think so highly of our animals.

As a Valentine sweet "gift", we have added some new pictures and hope to put a smile on your face!

With Love,

It is our very own homeless Olive who enjoys hanging on top of a kennel. She's just like Big Foot.....sometimes you think you are seeing things. Olive was caught on a dash cam!

Sick Pet?

DogOnBack

If your pet doesn't feel well, has quit eating, has been exposed to excessive amounts of heat without water, or if your pet is vomiting and not keeping water down, chances are it's dehydration. This may not always be the case but assuming that it is dehydration is the safest approach. Dehydration is common in pets, and it can lead to serious problems.

How to tell if your pet is dehydrated:
·    Loss of skin elasticity
·    Lethargy
·    Depression
·    Sunken eyes
·    Dry gums
·    Increased heart rate
·    Slow capillary refill time

You will often see veterinarians lift up the loose skin over the back and watch for its mobility. A slow return to normal can be a sign of dehydration. If you think your pet is dehydrated, see your veterinarian immediately.

NEVER leave your pet at an unattended clinic at night.

YOU have made our work of love possible, THANK YOU!

With your help, we have now directly saved 1,125 lives! NONE were killed.

AND almost 3,000 were spayed or neutered for the public which saved numerous lives.

Not bad for a small Mom-Pop shelter in the middle of no-where!

There are currently 33 dogs at Pet Pals facility and a number of others in foster homes. We also have cats, horses, geese, ducks and rabbits.

While some said it couldn't be done, it was done and we will keep on doing it!

Once again, expenses in 2014 exceeded donations. Larry & Linda York, once again,  took money from their savings.

Can you spare even ten dollars? :-)
