Does the Affordable Care Act/Obama Care Guarantee The Right To Obtain Long term Care Insurance?
NO!  It does not!  In this past week alone, I ran into three people who could not buy long term care insurance although they wantCouple with stair chaired to.  Why?  Because they waited too long.  One had recently been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  Another had started using oxygen "but only at night", she said.  One person recently had medication prescribed to slow the advance of Alzheimer's.  All long term care insurance is medically underwritten.  You must qualify medically or else you cannot purchase long term care insurance at any price.
