There is a rumor going around that I have retired.  This rumor is entirely false.  Please read on.

Yes, I a fiercely-independent insurance broker...fiercely-independent for the benefit of my clients.

Yes, I moved my Denver Tech Center office to a spacious home office in 2009.

Yes, I work comfortably dressed and with my dog at my feet.

Yes, I have a short daily commute.

Yes, I travel on a two-week vacation about every 18-24 months (most recently two weeks in Spain).

Yes, I regularly work about 50 hours per week...although my wife claims that I work much more.

No, I have not retired...nor do I intend to do so any time in the foreseeable future. 

 

I'm having way too much fun helping people plan for their long term care needs, and I'm very good at it.  Strangers become clients, who then become friends.  At the end of the day, I leave people in a better position than before they met me.  That is gratifying.  I am thankful that I fell into this profession so many years ago.  And I am thankful to you for keeping me here.
