Gold in September . . . the hope of a loving sister
|
The concept for Gold in September™ was created by Annie Bartosz, Jack's devoted twin sister, who happily sees the nation turn pink in October for breast cancer and is determined to turn the world gold for kids battling cancer. "When a child is diagnosed with cancer it affects the family and the community. It's devastating," says Annie. "My goal is to get everyone thinking about and wearing gold in September so we can bring an end to childhood cancer."
In order to turn the tide and achieve the kind of success necessary to create a wave of optimism for the children and families affected by childhood cancer, a strong, unifying brand is essential for the national market. Gold In September™(G9) will be the catalyst for change. With the gold ribbon as the national symbol for childhood cancer and September (the 9th month) as the recognized National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the G9 Project combines impact with simplicity. Stay tuned for much more information coming soon!

Jack's Story Continues, Help Write the Next Chapter
|
Whether it's on the golf course or tennis court; earning a badge with your scout troop; remembering or honoring a loved ones birthday, wedding, or anniversary; building a culture of philanthropy with students, colleagues, or friends; or brainstorming within the comfort of your own home, you have the power to help the I Back Jack Foundation fight childhood cancer by funding new clinical trial treatments. Continue to support the Foundation, especially in September during National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and remember, it's not science holding us back, it's funding. Everything helps and everyone has the power to make a difference. Together we can write Jack's next chapter and help another child's story from ending.
