Dear Travel Partners,
We are pleased to inform you that the Vietnamese Government issued an official decree today, 1st July 2016 (No. 56 / NQ-CP dated June 30, 2016) confirming that the visa exemption for citizens of Spain, Italy, France, Germany and the UK has been extended for one more year, until 30th June 2017.
The visa exemption applies for citizens of the above countries for stays of up to 15 days (single entry and not returning within 30 days).
It is important to note that according to Vietnam immigration law, one is eligible to avail of this visa exemption only if the following requirements are met:
- your passport must have at least six months validity.
- If you wish to enter Vietnam at least two consecutive times without a visa, the next entry must be at least 30 days after the previous exit.
Otherwise, you will still need a visa.
