HOW TO GET THERE
By Plane: There are domestic flights every day from Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) Hanoi which takes around 170 mins (1,245km), Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) HCMC which takes around 50 mins (300 km) and Tra Noc International Airport (VCA) Can Tho City which takes around 30 mins (190 km). Major airlines that fly to International Phu Quoc Airport include as Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air and Jet Star. There are 2-3 flighter per week
from Siem Reap International Airport Cambodia (REP) Siem Reap City.
By Boat: It is relatively easy to get the boat from Ha Tien town port to Ham Ninh port, it takes around 75 mins (45 km), or from Rach Gia city port to Vong Beach port it take around 150 mins (120 km) but, like the train, travel time is considerably longer than flying.

The Coconut Tree Prison in An Thoi Town was once an active prison built and used by the French and Americans. At one time it housed more than 40,000 North Vietnamese soliders during the Vietnam War. Today it is a museum/historical site and has been recognised as special national heritage site in Vietnam.
