By Plane: The easiest way to get to Halong Bay is to fly to Hanoi's International Airport, Noi Bai. Major airlines that fly to Hanoi include: Emirates, Vietnam Airlines, Qatar Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Aeroflot, China Eastern, China Southern, Japan Airlines and EVA Air.
From Hanoi, transfer by car to the port at Halong Bay (driving time approx 3.5 hours).
By Car: Halong Bay is relatively easy to get to by car from the surrounding towns, but from any major city (Saigon, Danang, Nha Trang, Hue, etc.) it's best to fly to Hanoi and then transfer by car.

* Hai Phong City has been well-known for its complex of deep water anchorage seaports with large facilities for maritime industry.
* Tuan Chau Island about 8 kilometers to the southwest side of Ha Long Bay, consists of multiple sloping hills, stretching over 2 kilometers long with white smooth sand and yellow sunshine the whole summer.
