Dear Travel Partners,
Focus Asia are pleased to bring you the following visa regulation update for Vietnam...
Vietnam reduces visa fees in a bid to boost tourism
Official update # 157/2015/TT-BTC issued by the Ministry of Finance
Vietnam will cut the standard visa fee for visitors from US$45 to $25 on November 23 2015, with the aim of increasing the number of foreign arrivals to the country. This fee reduction applies for visas on arrival. The visa fee when obtaining a visa from the embassy prior to travel will also decrease; clients should contact the embassy or their visa service provider for the exact costs for their respective countries.
For a multi-entry visa valid for three months, the fee will be $50, down from the current $95, the finance ministry announced on its website on Tuesday. Fees for visas with longer terms will range from $95 to $155 for validity of up to five years.
