Our team in Myanmar reports that heavy rains caused severe flooding and landslides over many parts of the country, leaving little to no access to power in certain regions.  Over the past days, we received reports of casualties and fatalities especially from the countryside.  Please note that most of the severe flooding occurred in areas that are not included in our tour programs.

Meanwhile, alternative routes have been arranged for some of the destinations which our clients visit, in order to avoid the floods and ensure the safety of our guests..

There is some good news to report today; the high tide which has made the additional rains more troublesome to deal with is now lowering, with some cities reporting a downward trend in tide measurements as of today.  Our tours will continue to push through, with our team on the ground continuously monitoring the situation.
