Activities
Bowling
Practices are March 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
Practice is held every Monday, excluding City holidays, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Altamonte AMF Lanes. Scores are recorded throughout the year. Cost is $2 per game and includes shoes.

STOP Trip: Plant City Strawberry Festival
March 7 | 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration opens at 9 a.m. on February 27
Trips take place one Saturday a month and are socially, physically and educationally beneficial field trips. Drop off and pick up is at Eastmonte Park. Cost is $3 per participant. Lunch is provided. Financial assistance is available. Feel free to send souvenir money for trips. Reservations are taken in the order received. Please call or email to reserve your spot. Space is limited. 

 

Belly Dance
Practices are March 11 & 25
Special needs belly dancers and family members typically meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Eastmonte Park to exercise and prepare for performances. Cost is $15 per season. Family members dance free.

Nightbird Dance
March 13 | Luck of the Irish Dance
Themed dances are held one Friday a month from 7 to 9 p.m. at Eastmonte Park. Prizes are awarded for dance and costume contest winners and birthdays. Drinks and light snacks are provided. Cost is $2 per participant and $1 per guest (parent, caregiver, etc).

Thursday Night Out
Karaoke Night | March 19
Cooking Class | March 26
Thursday Night Out is held on the third and fourth Thursday of each month at Westmonte Park from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $1 per person. Light refreshments are provided. RSVP for cooking classes one week prior.

Sparklers Cheerleading
The Sparklers are hosting their team showcase/dress rehearsal to demonstrate all they have accomplished this season before attending competitions. Family and friends are welcome to join us on Sunday, March 15 at Lake Brantley South. Performances begin at 4:30 p.m.

Ballroom Dance Showcase
March 22 | 1:30 to 2:45 p.m.
Please join us for a free 1950s themed ballroom dance showcase, which also features special guest performers. The event is at Lake Brantley South Gym. Click here for more information.

Winter Clubhouse
In the final month of the Winter Clubhouse, participants enjoyed a field trip to Circle H Horse Ranch, packaged over 3,400 meals for hungry children around the world, played laser tag at WonderWorks and put on a talent show. A special thank you to all the volunteer counselors who assisted each week! Photos of the fun are on our Facebook page.

Spring Sprint 5K
April 11 | 6:30 to 9 a.m.
Join us in Cranes Roost Park for the 7th annual Spring Sprint 5K Run & Walk. This fun-filled family event helps raise awareness for a great organization in our community - The Advisory Board for the Disabled. For more information, visit www.ASRecreation.org/SpringSprint.
