Blessings this day! And thank you for your continued work and
Faith leaders gathered to witness support for more solar and wind in PNM plan.
support.

In January NMIPL was honored to have  faith leaders stand in witness as I read a letter to the PRC stating that the PNM replacement plan for the San Juan power plant stack closures is faulty. New Mexicans want more solar, and wind power. Thank you to all faith leaders who offered comments for delivery from around the state. Check out faith statements on ourwebsite under advocacy.

It is not too late to sign up for the Valentine Actions highlighting global warming. If Valentine weekend does not work for a homily, educational event, film or advocacy action, try another weekend in the spring---BUT SIGN UP at  www.preachin.org.   NMIPL also has more resources on our  website. Finally, join 100,000 other people in a synchronized prayer for climate action at noon on Feb. 14 through the Our Voices campaign leading up to Paris.

The legislative session is in progress and NMIPL is supporting bills for more solar and protection of water. Let us know if you would like to be on our advocacy list. So much happening....read on.

Thank you for all you do to care for Earth.
Peace and good,
Joan Brown,osf
