Thank you to everyone who took part in or supported the climate marches in New Mexico and NY the weekend of Sept. 21.  In New Mexico between Santa Fe and ABQ we had 1,100 people say theywant climate justice Now.  Check out our website and scroll to bottom of the page to see lots of pictures. I was pleased to be with the good folks in Silver City for the Gila River Festival and offer a talk and lead an interfaith service. Thanks to Rev. Paul Moore at the wonderful Episcopal congregation for helping coordinate the service and time to meet.

Thanks to First Unitarian and Principal Donna at St. Therese for offering presntations on their solar work at the NM Solar Energy Festival September 27.

Come to our NMIPL Annual Fall Harvest Gathering, Sat. Nov. 15, 2-4 pm at First Unitarian Church, ABQ. In addition to honoring great work of faith communities and individuals in efficiency, renewable energy and creation care work, we have Rev. Are you a Faith Leader? Have you signed our joint letter with faith leaders of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah supporting EPA new guidelines for clean power?  Contact Joan to sign on. 

 

Everyone can sign the online petition to the EPA for cleaner power.

 

Hold the Date. Public hearing for PNM proposal for energy production mix as 2 units of San Juan Power Plant close are scheduled for January 5.  More information to come.
