October E-Notes, 2011
Greetings! Joan Brown,osf

Wangari Maathai passed over this week leaving behind a living legacy of leaders and trees. I was privileged to attend a meeting with her at the Copenhagen Climate Conference. As one tree falls, so it fertilizes sprouts of newness. Could some of the newness at the Wall Street demonstration be shoots for an economic and ecological movement?

NMIPL continues to plant seeds and trees of hope and action in the work that we do with you and your faith communities. This past month we were particularly excited by a meeting of faith communities exploring solar energy through bundling and power of purchase agreement. Learn more about this possibility and others in this October E-notes.

Much peace and good,
Joan Brown,osf

Solar Possibilities for Houses of Worship/Schools
Would you like to be part of another informational meeting?
NMIPL sponsored a great informational meeting with Consolidated Solar Technologies and a dozen faith communities in Albuquerque to consider the possibilities of solar PV through power purchase agreements and bundling. We would love to assist in bringing more faith communities throughout the state together. If you are interested, contact NMIPL.Contact info@nm-ipl.org.
