An Earth Day Celebration with Women of the Medicine Wheel

For millennia women honored the Great Goddess, the Goddess within, and the Goddess that is the Earth through dance, movement, meditation and song. As women of the medicine wheel, we seek to revive and enhance these traditions for modern women four times a year as the seasons and energies of the earth and heavens change, bringing healing, transformation, freedom and enlightenment.
This April under the full Pink Moon, we will gather to call in the energies of Mother Earth and the spirits of the East, of air, enlightenment, new beginnings, the Goddesses of Spring, and the vibration of the eagle. In the spirit of Black History Month, we acknowledge that African History started thousands of years before slavery and continues until this very day. We acknowledge our ancient ancestors who gave birth to mathematics, science, astronomy, astrology, alphabets, agriculture, holistic medicine, spirituality, etc. We celebrate our most ancient one who impressed upon us to take care of our body temple for this is where the Most High dwells. They taught the importance of Father, Mother and Children which is the original trinity which is family. Many scholars committed their lives to ensure we obtain this knowledge to be passed on to future generations; namely, Dr. Ben, Dr. Clarke, Francis Cress Welsing, Dr. Dilbert Blair, Dr. Ivan Vansertima, Dr. Richard King, Dr. John G. Jackson, Dr. George G. M. James, Dr. Asar Hilliard and many many more.
For this Black History Month, lets make it our business to pick up their many books and DVDs and share with other in search of knowledge of self. Lets put into action the words of their books to elevate our consciousness and our community. Now that's a real Black History Month !! Those interested in taking a course to start your journey of learning your ancient African history can start with several organizations:

For those who have not met the Chapter's Sensational Seniors of the Bronx & Harlem, see their fabulous photo below. Their monthly Reflexology Parties are hosted in the Bronx by Mother Marlene Perrineau and in Harlem by Mother Marva Nelson. They receive reflexology & shoulder massage treatments from Sista Shai who is very, very proud of their progress. They are already quite active but now that their legs and health are stronger, there is no catching up to this bunch !! 2016 Clinical Iridology course of studies begins in February !!!
On Sunday Feb 7 eight holistic learners will begin a significant career-opening course of studies. What happens in these live classes? After tools are given out and use demonstrated, you will learn exactly what Clinical Iridology can and cannot do, how it depends on nerve activity to record changes from every near and remote spot in the body, and why this information appears the way it does in the blue or brown areas of your eyes, theirides.
- Next you will learn the language of Iridology-a natural, intuitive code you already are partially familiar with-without ever mentioning a disease name. That language will equip you to understand placement on the eye maps. We'll introduce you to the most widely used (Bernard Jensen original) iris chart and explain zones, clock metaphor, eccentricity of the pupils and orientation within the circular pattern of left and right, deep or surface occurrences, then on to the signs ('ocular bio-markers') themselves. Roughly two dozen signs, once acquired, will get you well on the way to familiarity and eventual mastery of the intricate topography (map-like layout) visible in these two remarkable organs.
In addition to looking at your own and your classmate's live eyes, you will see hundreds of pictures on the big white board. Magnified to three feet from five-eighths inch actual size, you will draw on the board to trace out an Autonomic Nerve Wreath, see examples of all the iris signs, plus learn photographic tips to guide your own efforts shooting microphotographs (any point-and-shoot will work if you read the manual :o) with your own digital handheld Sony or Nikon or Canon or whatever.
